Setra heads to Cumbria for RAF Contract

A recent sale has been of this excellently presented Setra S415 GT-HD to Armstrong Travel of Haltwhistle on the Cumbria / Northumberland border. It is to be used on a contract transporting Scandanavians to RAF Spadeadam in Cumbria in conjunction with their work on testing Natural Gas and Oil supplies. The coach was supplied by Angel Travel from Oundle, Northants and has recently been re-trimmed in a very nice blue scheme consisting of half leather trimmed seats. Thanks to Oundle Travel for supplying the coach, and we wish Derek and his team at Armstrong Travel the best of luck with their new purchase.

A recent sale has seen this beautifully presented Setra S416 GT-HD go to new start operator N.B. Powell Ltd of Waterlooville in Hampshire. Nigel was looking for something to turn heads as his first coach and he has certainly found it. The coach was supplied by Chiltern Travel of Romford, Essex and consists of 49 Ambiente Seats with extra legroom, Air Conditioning, Centre Sunken WC, Boiler, and Fridge. It is finished in this stunning gold colour which is set off by Alloy Wheels. Nigel will be using it mainly on general private hire helping out other operators locally whilst he gets himself established. Hopefully a little bit of publicity from us will help this. We wish Nigel the best of luck in his new venture and look forward to welcoming back when he doubles his fleet size.

A recent sale to report is this immaculate Merceds Benz Vario Sitcar Beluga 3 from Express of Batley to Grayway Coaches in Wigan. Traditionally Grayway have leaned towards Plaxton Cheetahs for their smaller vehicles but needed something with a bit more bells and whistles and this little coach fits the bill perfectly. The Beluga 3 is fitted with 29 Vogel Reclining Seats with Leather Piping & Headrest Inserts, Air Conditioning, Fridge, Hot Drinks Facility, and an extremely large luggage capacity.  It was presented in the pristine condition we have come to expect from Sammy and Taz at Express. Seen collecting the coach from Darren is David Gray of Grayway Coaches. Thanks as always to Sammy and Taz for ensuring the coach was spotless prior to collection, and to Mick and Janet at Grayway for their continued support.
